#27: Grand Hotel in Stockholm

August, 2005: Stockholm's Grand Hotel is a 5 Star Luxury Hotel with 368 rooms, built in 1874. Rooms start at ~$580/night and go up from there. Needless to say, we didn't actually stay at the Grand Hotel. But we admired it's beauty! And that alone was worth $580! The Grand Hotel hosts the Nobel Prize winners in December. Further, it is centrally located along the waterfront.

Verdict: A sight to behold. If you can't afford it, do what we did and at least admire it's beauty from the outside! Or have a meal there, attend the Opera, etc. But..... if you can afford it, stay there! If I ever make it back to Stockholm.... I'm shelling out the cash!
